3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale, hazy yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is slight banana and slightly earthy. Flavor is clean up front with a slightly musty aftertaste. Some cloves are pleasant throughout. Overall, decent hefeweizen, but not anything special.
Pours a hazy golden orange. Aromas of bread/bananas/ and some fruit. Had a taste of yeasty bread with some spice. Not as clove/banana as most Hefs I’ve tried. GranvilleTim (1857) - Granville, Illinois, USA - APR 2, 2016
Cloudy yellow pour with an off-white head. Aroma is wheat and clove. Taste is clove, wheat and a little banana. Soapy lacing. DavoleBomb (1867) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 18, 2016
Poured from a bottle to a weizen glass.
4.5 A: Moderately hazed medium orange color. Big ass four fingers of creamy/pillowy off-white head. Retention is very good like it’s supposed to be and glass covering lacing is left.
3.75 S: Musty with herbal/earthy/grainy wheat from the start. Peppery yeastiness with notes of semi-bitter orange peel and bubblegum. The musty/earthiness is something I don’t encounter too often in the style, but it sure does work well.
4.0 T: The taste is closer to the typical hefe. Big peppery yeast spiciness, banana, bubblegum, orange peel. Again grainy and not too dry and not too sweet; right where it should be.
3.75 M: Lighter medium body. Good bubbly carbonation. Pleasantly creamy and super smooth.
4.0 D: Very nice beer. A bit different from the typical hefe, but has all the required components as well.

Pours a clear yellow with huge head from a bottle. Sweet hefe alco-aroma. Flavor is banana liquor. Decent. ccex (1350) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 19, 2015
12 oz. bottle pours a hazy yellow color with huge white head that lasts and leaves a little lacing. Aroma has wheat, banana, cloves, and a bit of lemon. Taste is on the sweet side with a short drier finish. Body is light to medium with a crisp mouthfeel and average carbonation. Very easily drinkable, and well within the normal boundaries of a hefeweizen. I’m glad I tried one, and will think of this favoribly the next time I see one offered.

poured a large white foamy head. aroma was light, very little scent of banana and bread. Taste was of bananas and white bread. very light on the palate, a bit too light for my licking but no bitterness made it somewhat pleasing. rather light but finishes smooth. overall not bad, my second Hefeweisen, and so far I have to say not my favorite variety. This brew is a slightly hazy pale amber color with a medium thin white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of wheat, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, herbal wheat and bready malt. The finish is fruity with a clove and wheat aftertaste. Decent overall. hershiser2 (3590) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - SEP 26, 2015

This beer almost tastes like it's coming from a 20 year old glass. That was buried. In a cemetery. But after all that, it's not bad.
