COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Five different malts, select hop varities, and our own specially cultivated yeast create an ale which leads with hop flavors and a subtle impression of fruit (our yeasts contribution), followed by a palate pleasing malty finish.

not bad...had much better...kind of weak and thin in taste but compared to my options I was happy to have it with a burger and some rice...

Draft at Dinosaur BBQ in Troy, NY. Hazy straw with nose of pale malt, milder hops, biscuity malt. Tastes like a British bitter.

Kleg (443) - The Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 8, 2017
12 oz stubby bottle bought in NH. Murky dark gold pour with a khaki head and decent retention. No lacing. No real distinct flavors. Crisp and smooth with almost no bitterness. Lightly sweet and light fruity hops. I would have guessed this was a weak pilsner. This beer doesn't know what it wants to be.

Brown-orange with small tan head. Aroma malt, toasty, touch of hops. Medium-light body. Flavor is off-dry malt, some roasted flavors, fruitiness, very slight bitterness. Simple, good balance.

Bottle shared in MV. Pours clear orange with a fairly tight, foamy off-white head. The aroma holds toasted grains, some English yeast, a few leaves, citrus peel. Light sweet flavour with more toasted grains, more orange rind, a little grassy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with some further leafy hops, citrus peel, further lightly toasted grains, more bread. Not bad overall.

I’ve had this in the bottle and on tap, but this rating is for a pint pour at Our House Bistro in Plattsburgh, New York. Pours clear amber, minimal off-white head and lacing. Aroma: brown sugar, some nuts. Flavor: pretty much the same Mouthfeel: medium-bodied. It’s OK, drinkable, non-offensive, but really boring. I can’t understand why it’s so popular.

Mild aromas of bread. Pours an orange gold with a thin white head and a lot of lacing. Sweet and sour balance with a light lingering sour finish. Good carbonation. A nice drinkable ale.

Keg at Switchback, Burlington. Cloudy amber, small head. Fruity bready nose. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Crystal malt and bread, some hay. Mid bitter finish.

APPEARANCE- lightly orange (in this bar’s light). Odd for an ale. It is plenty turbid, so I believe it’s unfiltered. NOTES- I’ve already said the most interesting things about this beer.

mahkus (136) - Aberdeen, SCOTLAND - JAN 3, 2017
A very pleasant bitter. Quickly dissipating head. Cloudy appearance because of the sediment. Slightly malty aroma. Nicely balanced flavour.
