CloakedDagger (2870) - - DEC 1, 2017
Bottle 50 cl. A surprisingly pale Imperial Stout that you can actually see through, sort of like an orangey brown with a creamy, beige head - good looking though. Nose is very soft roast and booze, some dark fruits, brown sugars. Body not overly rich, very sweet and malty - but again not really roasted. This is candy in a bottle and kinda neat if you have that sweet tooth. But I wouldn't really call it an Imperial Stout - more like an Imperial Amber and as such quite enjoyable. A sugar bomb. 011217

Bottle. Pours hazy coffee brown with stable liggt tan head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with notes of roast. Rum in the long nose. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of coffee, malt and rum. Roasty and rummy aftertaste. Good.

Lovely full-bodied stout with full palate on the aroma and taste of hardroasted malt. Chocolate and coffee tastes light in the beginning, but it’s the taste of raisins and rum that has the main emphasis in this stout. Moderately hops with long aftertaste.

Milter (1070) - Nyborg, DENMARK - MAY 21, 2017
Smagt på Ølfestival, København. En Imperial stout med gode smagsnuancer. Tilpas med humle og sødme.
