Caramel, and toffee and cherries on the nose. The flavor of walnut, licorice, soy and chocolate. Good bitterness that fills the upper and front part of the mouth for a long time. Good towards the end. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

On bottle from Kioskh, Copenhague. Clear amber color, good foam. Medium aroma intensity; malt dominates, a little milder dried fruits- soma vanila in the finish. Medium body & complexity. Some immediate sweetness, ok balance. Enjoyable

Copenhagen 5/1 2016. 50 cl bottle from Eternellen in Frederiksund. Drawing of bearded guy in Jesus posture on the label. He blinks jovially on top of it. That's what you get for naming your brew "The Saviour". Pours clear reddish dark brown with small off-white head. Leaves patchy remnants of foam. Aroma of dark roasted malts, coffee and a little chocolate. Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Taste is quite well balanced. A little roasted sweetness balanced by light coffee bitterness. Aftertaste is not particulary long and mostly sweet. A little roastiness. A pleasure to be saved by this simple chum.

Bottle 50 cl. Murky, reddish brown with a tiny, off-white head. Very spicy, medicinal aroma - appears a little like ginger. Medium body, heavy roast with a solid bitterness - and then again those nasty spices. Weird. More like a spicy Porter really. 260215
