This has the usual clean appearance of a pilsner when poured, well at least until I upend the very last of the bottle when the yeast muddies the waters a bit. Not to worry though as there is nothing wrong with a bottle conditioned beer. There is ample carbonation at first but it is followed up with a fine beading. The Alcohol content of this beer provides great lacing as well. The head is huge and rocky which enhances the look substantially. I found it hard to find a real nose to this beer as one would hope for a pilsner. There is a suble spiciness and herbal note but not enough for me. The flavour is the let down. Bitterness is present but the hop profile reminds me of a pride of ringwood rather than a noble pilsner hop. The POR in Australia only adds bitterness with little or no aroma and I am sorry to say this is the case here. Anyway, brewers produce their beeer for the local market and given the usual Chilean penchant for avoiding very hoppy beers this is probably still going to be a successful brew.

courtesy of oh6gdx - fully cloudy dark orange in colour and with a moderate foam left; aroma of yeast with some aromatic fruity notes; a robust carbonation and a medium malt backbone; a hint of acidity lasting in a yeasty and slightly fruity, corny finish - very decent

Bottled (330mL), pours a turbid and pale yellow color, what’s probably best in this beer is the appearance, it almost looks like pouring liquid honey in a glass. That is, if liquid honey had a frothy white head... The aroma? Pretty citric, with some wheat and wood in it. The taste is relatively plain, but with a lot of body and no residual acidity. This beer goes down easily, has a nice texture and feels good in the palate. I’m not a fan of lagers, but this I’d definitely drink on a summer day.

Bottled. Tnx thewolf. Aroma has hops, grains, grass. Hazy, yellow coloured beer with a firm, white head. The taste is little bitter, refreshing, hoppy. Good one actually.

Pours hazy, pale yellow with a fine, medium, frothy, white head. Looks very much like a wit-beer actually. Malty aroma, sweet, citric and a hint of grassy hops. Medium carbonation, fine grainy mouthfeel. Flavour is elegantly citric, very fresh, some sweet, elegant maltiness. Very fresh and drinkable, but also quite different from what I’d expect from a pilsner.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, citrus, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and citrus. Thanks omhper for sharing.
