Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 15, 2014
Cap top bottle, illustrations is a wizard and a tree brewing beer in a cauldron. Really funky sugar and caramel aroma. Murky orange with heavy suspension. Very sweet and nearly tart taste, candied sugar abounds. In spite of this I found it to be very dry like hoppier tripels. Not much other impression from the body, imperceptibly heavy and filling.

Foto's: http://www.beersfrombelgium.eu/nl/Bosprotter-b-950

330ml bottle from The Grumpy Goat, Reading, nice label. Amber colour with white head. Yeast, light stone fruits, light spices, light grapefruit. Drinkable for sure but very light and with not much going on for an 8.5% tripel.

Poured gold. Aroma is fruits. Taste is like a pils, grain, light bitter. Weak watery finish.

A cloudy orange color with a high long and slightly torn foam. Citrus aroma mixed with bread. The taste is acidic, citrus, grapefruit, small bitterness. The aftertaste is bitter and dry.

ASPETTO: Biondo molto torbido. Schiuma bianca, fine, abbondante e persistente.

Chudwick (3501) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - AUG 3, 2016
33cl bottle best by Feb 2017 - very fizzy. Nose is earthy, nutty, leafy, fruity and honey. Sip adds toast and some bitter agent I can’t quite identify. Biggish body with an aggressive mouth feel despite the inviting aroma. Maybe I should of let it cool longer. disappointing finish. Cool looking label. For a tripel I found this too much like an ABT which is not a bad thing, but I expected more bubblegum or fruity flavors.

De geur is goed. De kleur lichtblond. De smaak is zeer licht zurig. Een aanrader

2.6
Kristall-König (2820) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - JUL 9, 2016
Festival der Stierkulturen. Geruch süß, holzig und zitronig. Beginnt zunächst süß und hefig. In die Mitte spielt etwas Würze ein. Abgang alkoholisch, hefig, zitronig. Geht so.

rondphoto (4526) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUL 6, 2016
bottle @ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Cloudy dirty orange, off-white head, light waves of lace. Taste is carbonation edged sweet caramel malt that moves smoothly through a long lightly bittered finish, adding alcohol warmth and strength at the very end. Satisfactory, but probably wouldn’t have it again.

3.3
deanso (10354) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - FEB 21, 2016
33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Thick creamy white head. Cloudy blond pour. Nice label. Very average beer
