750ml bottle. Quasi black colour with huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Vinous and chocolately dark malty aroma, notes of cocoa, chocolate cookies, dark berries, blue grapes. Taste is similarly chocolately and vinous with more roasty dark malty notes and some coffee in the finish. Nice.

330cc bottle. Very dark brown with a thick beige head. Lost of yeast aroma. Bitter and roast. The finish is way too unpleasantly bitter from roast grains.

Bottle at home. Cool label! Very dark brown colour, beige foamy head. Sweet and roasted malts with coffee, chocolate and caramel, Belgian hoppy palate, light roasted bitterness, distant metallic tone. Relatively high carbonation, light body but good flavours, soft mouthfeel. Abbey double meets stout, I guess.

HHH! This is not a stout, get it.....ratebeer...Well, perhaps a dry stout, says the wife..Zita. And its dark brown with a lifht brown head, sweet, roasted aroma, harmonic flavor, sweet and some caramel notes, toasted breaed, but not the typical stout-notes, more fruity.

Countbeer (6472) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 27, 2014
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Beige light brown head. Black beer. Aromas of light roast, herbs, yeast, some hops, hint of candy and grass. Flavours of light roast and light coffee tones, next is bitters, herbs, grass, some hops and yeast... Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, hops, light roast and light sweet/fruity. Low carbo, watery mouthfeel, medium bodied. Let it breath for a while and you have a decent beer!
