Draft, Essen Kerstbierfestival 2011. Darker brown coloured ber with some very light carbonation and a small brown head. Herby aroma (hints of cloves). Rather alcohol - wintery aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is full malty roasted, sweet bitter with a clear spicy and alocohol touch. Not bad.

Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk.
Gusher! Muddy redish brown with a giant, staying, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has lots of red berries, raisins, chocolate, soft tartness. Plums and a bit of coriander. Medium, prickly carbonation, light oily but kinda light mouthfeel for the ABV. Flavour has mild viniousness, plums, coriander, mild milky chocolate. Soft lactic tartness as well. Fine beer, even if the gushing is annoying.

Bottle, 11%. Good fruity aroma, hint of dried fruit. Cloudy red brown colour. Small stable tan head. The flavour is nicely fruity, good and dried. Has a little yeast, but is good with all the nice fruity flavours.

/10/11/11//11

Weird dubbel. Very dark orange brown. Good head. Sweet, and over spiced. A winterbeer, not bad, overdone with the herbs. Caramel, malts, fruits, apple.

Bouteille 33cl. Abbey dubbel? not sure.
