Together with chefs Onno Kokmeijer and Arjan Speelman of the Michelin-starred restaurant Ciel Bleu we created this highly tasty I.P.A. The dry-hop with Waimea and Citra hops gives the beer a floral, bitter character and the addition of kaffir lime provides a tropical touch. Completed by a deep golden color, the Ciel Bleu I.P.A. is an irresistable beer. Ciel Bleu I.P.A. is on the menu of restaurant Ciel Bleu and is limited available in our pub.

17/V/15 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: XII/2015 (2015-649) Thanks to Paul and Venessa for the bottle!

Clear orange beer, creamy irregular off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity touch, citrus, grassy, bit off, little chemical. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, some peach, exotic fruits, passion fruits, slightly sweet even. Aftertaste: bitter, grassy touch, bit piny, bit medicinal, fruity finish.

omhper (25102) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 29, 2015
Bottled. Hazy golden, small head. Peach, dill and mango up front. Mid sweeet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Salty citrus and peach. Very bitter finish.

flip_soeperman (880) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 29, 2015
Aroma is nice, with lime, some resin, clean yeast. But taste is sweet and astringent. Not great.

Gerbeer (3747) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 20, 2015
340 ml bottle. Pours amber with big full head. Aromas of spruce/pine, candied citrus, and resin. Flavors follow same with additional bread crusts and limes. Light bitter finish. Okay.

ElManana (2079) - Scheldewindeke, BELGIUM - MAY 17, 2015
Bottle shared with tderoeck. Nose is spicy, some citrus, hops. Taste is nice round bitterness, citrus, good stuff.

fkoolen (1210) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 13, 2015
Bottle at home. Light copper colour, offwhite creamy head. Crisp piny, orange zest and bitter lemon hop profile, faintly tropical fruity too, sweet malty base giving a good body. Good lengthy finish. Medium body, oily palate.

MarcoDL (4920) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 11, 2015
Bottle. Golden pour, white head. Aroma is very bitter and grassy, with yeast and pine. Taste of bitter herbs, lime, sharp grass and hops in the finish. First beer with waimea that’s not nasty. Not very interesting though.

adamnowek (2709) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAY 8, 2015
Really subtle taste of lime. Pretty well hopped. Typical mild cloudiness and a good semi-dry texture.

blackisle (2578) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - MAY 7, 2015
Bottle 33cl. Clear medium amber, large frothy white to off-white head, good retention and lacing; citrus nose, grapefruit, lemonime, grass, floral notes, smooth taste, medium bitter and light sweet, lime; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, round dry aftertaste, full of fruity bitterness and light sweet notes, also herbal notes; a well-balanced IPA, very good.
