COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Together with chefs Onno Kokmeijer and Arjan Speelman of the Michelin-starred restaurant Ciel Bleu we created this highly tasty I.P.A. The dry-hop with Waimea and Citra hops gives the beer a floral, bitter character and the addition of kaffir lime provides a tropical touch. Completed by a deep golden color, the Ciel Bleu I.P.A. is an irresistable beer. Ciel Bleu I.P.A. is on the menu of restaurant Ciel Bleu and is limited available in our pub.

erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUN 9, 2013
Very dark hazy yet appealing light brown body with very creamy and stable yet huge off white head. Unique yeast dominating the aroma, yet not exactly IJ like, dominating the aroma, that?s supported by lots of biscuit and caramel malts. Very well hopped to, to make a gourmet mix in total. Exactly what this beer was supposed to be and it hits the sweet spot for me. As the refreshing yet full body with solid bitterness (that might be hard to pair with food) and I love it. (33cl bottle traded with Rob, thanks!)

Bottle. Golden pour, white head. Aroma is very bitter and grassy, with yeast and pine. Taste of bitter herbs, lime, sharp grass and hops in the finish. First beer with waimea that’s not nasty. Not very interesting though.

Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, floral notes, some yeast, pine, perfumed notes, hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a bitter finish. Bit sweetish and yeasty IPA, forestry aroma. I’m betting it’s the Waimea?

A pretty good, fairly dry IPA. Medium bodied, crisp, and aggressive. Tried in Amsterdam in 2015.

Heel fruitig, sinaasappelschil, limoen. Hop geeft beetje basilicum/mint-achtige kruidige zweem. Strak bittertje ook. Backlog from 2015/06/20.

Bottle @ WWT II. Hazy golden pour with a small white head. Aroma is very citrussy, full of lime and can definitely smell the citra. Flavor is quite bitter with a light malty backbone. Very decent IPA, nothing more, nothing less.
