An amber, craft beer with generous amounts of hops and alcohol. This copper-gold beer is a real heavyweight and a must for beer lovers. The liberal quantities of malt and bitter hops create a complex, full flavour. It starts as slightly sweet with malty aromas of chocolate, fruit and grain, while the bitter hops stand out nicely in the aftertaste. A feast for the connoisseur!

Dark orange with foamy head (it spilled out right as I opened the bottle). Aroma of yeast, clove and honey. Spicy and with a persistent taste.

Oranje bruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is krachtig, bitter en licht zoet met iets van karamel en bessen. Stevig biertje.

Lovely appearance. Amber with an off-white fine foam. Spicy, and with pronounced bitterness increasing the spiciness. Subtle fruitiness with a very slight hint of coffee.

33cl bottle at home. Appearance: amber with medium yellowish head. Aroma: sweet malts, apricot, nutmeg, citrus and some banana and yeast. Taste: medium sweetness and above medium bitterness. Notes of malts, citrus, spice and some yeast. Finish is malty, quite sticky on the tongue and slightly warming. Palate: medium bodied, oily to sticky texture and lively carbonation.

As the label already claims this is a complex beer. And a "heavy weight fir beer lovers". The appearance is very good, nice hea and lacing. Amber clear beer with well balanced carbonisation. The taste is bitter sweet. In the pallet the sweet goes little to sour. And that's a pitty. Don't drink to cold as that emphasises the sour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smaakt vol, kruidig, lichtmoutig, onaangename bitter, heeft iets weg van Pauwel Kwak

Draft - Grainy and earthy. Clear copper with a decent white head. Sweet earthy and a touch of bitterness.

On tap at BrewDog Shepherds Bush. Clear orange colour lasting cream head. Ester aroma. Banana and peach. Nut shells too. Good Belgian ale. It’s so nice after dipas to get a strong hoppy Belgian. White pepper finish likeable belgian ale well balanced.

Fat @ Brewpub.

Bottle. Color: Amber, orangish. Small off white head. Taste: Rather complex. Starting fruity, turning to rather bitter and after that going to the sweet side. Caramel and slightly orange peel notes. Bittery mouthfeel at the finish. Not my all time favorite, but a nice warming beer for once in a while.
