Brown, ruby with a fluffy off white head that fades. Aroma of grain, dry hops. The taste is mildly sweet and develops into a faint IPA like affair. There is malts in the aftertaste. caribou43 (1252) - Lausanne, SWITZERLAND - DEC 16, 2017
I found this bottle at Amstein, in St-Légier, best before 02/2018. I had a pleasant experience with this beer, a typical Belgian Ale, powerful beer, not a thousand one to become drunk. The color is a magical red/copper color, average carbonation for the style, thin and white foam. We notice directly the alcool but it is find, sugar, malt, side of orange peel, ginger bread, malty, cynamon, hop. We are not so far of a barley wine, Belgian yeast. The sensation in the mouth is pleasant, a kind of beer good to sleep madnorwegian (258) - FRANCE - NOV 18, 2017
Yummy complex amber beer. Would't really call it a belgian ale though. Little too bitter

Leuke woordspeling! Amberkleurig bier met witte schuimkraag. Geur: granen, licht zoet, karamel. Smaak: bitter en licht zoet, kruiden, alcoholisch. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: bitter, kruiden, alcoholisch. Niet slecht maar met een kruidige hopsoort die niet aan mij besteed is.
