COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our I.P.A. is a dark-blonde beer with an emphatic, hoppy flavour. We add hops to the beer during the maturing process as well as the brewing to produce delicious aromas of flowers and grapefruit. A beer with a fruity, bitter aftertaste that lingers for a long time.

Citrus, grapefruit, lemon zest, medicinal brett (a plus for me, in this case), unripe tropical fruit, some oxidation. Ok, I guess.

Bottle from Brewklopedia, Leicester. Dark gold, clear with a spotty white head. Blood orange and papaya notes in the scent, with touches of herbs, resin and spruce. Also a touch vegetal which takes the score down just a bit. Full bittersweet taste with lots of juicy hop, a touch phenolic. The long finish and sweet fruit-juice aftertaste are a crowning achievement for an imperfect but pretty damn good beer.

Bottle from Hoogvliet. Amber with small offwhite head. Pleasantly hoppy without overwhelming bitterness thanks to some honey notes

Best beer I had in the dam. Great drop. Fruity. Great label too. I was very wrecked.

Pain in the arse finding this one on here. And what’s that artwork all about? Fucking backwards mentality, in a business that’s supposed to be forward thinking. The beer smells like old pilsner malts and tastes burnt bitter. Don’t know where I got this from, and I don’t know why I bought it!

Second try from this brewery and again a very clean pour. Pale golden and slightly cloudy in appearance. Builds up a small head which stays for a while. Resinous hops in aroma which are not very intense though. Strong malty backbone, yet sufficiently hopped to cover the sweetness. The key is the right balance between the ingredients. Not even a small step to the left or right. Just keep going straight along the line. No alcohol notes showing up either, perfectly rounded up with malts and hops. A very clean and tasty IPA. Of course I wouldn’t mind to cross the line and be more generous with Citra hops.
