Bottle, pours a red/brown with a light beige head. Spicy and sugary nose. Taste is sweet and malty with caramel and brown sugar, dark bread, spices, raisins. Some bitterness. Good example of a rather dull style. 90 (1011) - BELGIUM - DEC 5, 2017

Dull sweetness in aroma. Taste is sweet sugar combined with esters scattered all over the place. Thin palate. Aftertaste you want to get rid of. rozsoma (1164) - Gyõr, HUNGARY - DEC 2, 2017

Decent dubbel-like beer. Banana, figs, nuts. Somewhat sweet perhaps. Subtle bitterness. Piepenhenrich (1335) - Steinbach, GERMANY - NOV 10, 2017
From bottle. Pours ruby-brown with beige head that won‘t stay long. Malty aroma. Flavors are more complex combining malts, some fruit and a hoppy/spicy sting that makes this a very interesting brew to have. Mpuntmuts (372) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 1, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2017 Tap. Cloudy amber brown with small beige head. Burnt sugar, caramelized malts, dried fruits peaking through for smell. Taste follows the nose. Medium body with medium carbo. Okay beer. Erzengel (10028) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 17, 2017
Old rating from 2010. Deep yeasty smooth beginning. Nice fruits, herbs and spices. Great depth, yeast, round and nice.
