Bottle at Evening Star Brighton. A sweet aroma to this hazy golden lager. The taste is typically lagerish only with much more character and cleanliness than most. refreshing. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 29, 2004
Hazy blonde color, small head. Yeasty, hay aroma. Slightly sour, hoppy pilsner flavor with some yeast. Quite carbonated (but soft), oily palate. Easily drinkable, smooth and refreshing pils (or is it really a blonde ale?). Ungstrup (37661) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 13, 2004
An orange beer with a beutiful dense white head. The aroma is of grass and yeast. The flavor is of yeast and a dry coriander finish. This beer tastes more like an ale than a pilsener - this mystifies me. For an ale it is good - but for a pilsener it is bad. Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - APR 11, 2004
Golden coloured. Grassy, fruity and hoppy aroma. Dry and grassy flavour with notes of salad. Fruits and some yeast in the flavour. It tastes more like an ale than a pilsener. fiulijn (20516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 13, 2004
Blond color, stormy perlage, big head. Simple aroma, some citrus fruits. Pleasant taste; probably it's top fermentation; soft, malts. Ends more bitter than aromatic. Thanks Jacob (Lövenlund) for this bottle.

This beer has a light yellow body - hue with a flavor initial flavor and a light body. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 4, 2003
Golden hazy body with small off-white head. Aroma is flowery, yeasty, melon, citrus. Taste starts moderate sweet, fruity and floral, turns lemon and grassy bitter. Medium body. ilicvladimir (6) - BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA - OCT 27, 2003 does not count
The best beer in the world, to put it in short. Unfortunately, the general public is not too informed about its existance. Hopistotle420 (1178) - Amherst, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 23, 2003
Best by '02 on bottle: Aroma is interesting to say the least. Rubber band, light citrus, woody. Hazy golden hue. Big white head. Very much like a watered down triple, as austin p. says. Spicy, light fruit, citric, bitter, yeasty and all funked out. A very drinkable beer, but this will surprise your palate no doubt. Im very impressed. Very dry, quenching, light bodied, velvety smooth, with a big bitter finish. The yeast is just incredible here, providing a generous flavor boost. mmmmm. urbnhautebourg (997) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - JAN 8, 2003
This is a very nice but terribly overpriced pils. My sample was a drunk a year after its expiration date. It showed gorgeous head and lacing over a cloudy pale gold body. The aroma was exactly like Warsteiner/Bitburger--good light mix of hops and malt. Malt character was friendly, some citric and sour qualities, finishing long with the sort of dull bitterness found in some of the trappist ales (versus the sharp pils bitterness of Jever). Excellent pils--sort of a mix of a Belgian Ale (given the hop character) and Rhineland Pils.
