On tap at Arendsnest. Black pour with thick foamy brown foam. Aroma is really chocolaty, roasty, dried fruits, burnt grain. Taste is bitter, bitter dark chocolate, quite roasty, some raisins, dried fruits, coffee. Palate is thinner than you might expect, quite dry, not watery but very thin with prickly carbonation. Clean and easy drinking. PeatyPete (1106) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 9, 2014

On tap in Arendsnest. Poured a deep dark brown with a dense beige head. Aroma of roast malt, liquorice, sweet fruit and chocolate, slightly phenolic. Medium to full body, flavour is much the aroma, seems more like a baltic than a standard porter. kermis (14479) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - APR 13, 2014

Malty, roasted taste with coffee, cocoa, liquorice, Danish black rye bread and a fairly dry finish with a generous cocoa bitterness. Almost full body, quite dry. Very tasty and exceptionally well balanced. Quite brilliant.
