A beautiful hazy gold color and a head that seems to climb to the top of the glass on the sides. Lemony and citrusy with a nice dryness in the end. This stuff is silky, incredibly balanced and smooth. Had it fresh on tap from the brewery – what a taste sensation! hAl (10) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 21, 2004
allthough not a classic white. Has a softer heavier but pleasant flavor. Less grainy taste that belgina whites.

This is the best witbier I’ve ever had. The alcohol adds a lot of body which most witbiers lack. The aroma and flavor are phenomenal, very candy-like (reminds me of grape Jolly Ranchers). I’m usually afraid of the massive amounts of sediment in ’t IJ beers but I dumped everything in my glass this time and it was a very rewarding experience. Definitely worth seeking this one out. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - NOV 13, 2006
Pours a beautiful cloudy yellow with a tall strong white head. Nose is so floral, juicy orange citrus nose with a strong corriander note. Flavor is light and refreshing, crisp in the finish with a wonderful citrus and corriander flavor. Nice little hop bit keeps it slightly bitter and refreshing. Has a slight sourness and a bit of brett taste to it. TonyDiUlio (664) - New Jersey, USA - JUN 6, 2008
What an awesome Belgian white. This beer was amazing. It had it all. Light yellow pour with a gorgeous haze. The aroma was full of wheat. The flavor was a heavily carbonated wheat that tickled the nose. Very good. Just overall a great witbier.

Bottle. The underdog of the night, no doubt about it. Pour has some deiment, huey yellow somewhat dark. Citrus, wheat, mild tart flavors. Incredible balance here. Nose is sharp coriander. Reminds me of Jolly Pumpkin Cala in regards to the nose. Nice alc too. Overall, Probably the best Wit I have ever tasted. ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - OCT 22, 2011
A solid wheat from Brouwerij ’t IJ. Pours golden with a decent head. Tastes dominated by wheat but there is evidence of citrus and perhaps some spice. Tried at the brewery with Erol and Paul in October, 2011. SkollMGB (5) - NETHERLANDS - APR 3, 2014 does not count
Fruity almost blonde beer. Tastes like bananas and citrus, but very very light. Has a full feel in the mouth and tingles a tiny bit. Very very fresh and light, not very bitter. Great beer RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 23, 2002
Frothy very long lasting head, and a mild nutmeg/citrus aroma accompany the smooth and light citric flavour from this great beer. A true classic.
