3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
There is quite a bit of spice in this beer. Orange, pepper, and pineapple. Picked it up at the bierkonig.

Bottle from Spar Spaardammerstraat. Nice color and fine head. The hippy taste is excellent, especially for the low ABV!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of fresh hops, grapefruit, oranges, fruity yeast, a bit sweaty. Flavour is dry, quite hoppy, grapefruit, leaves, light yeasty, firm bitter finish. Light-bodied. Not sure about the style, but it's a nice hoppy blond ale that will do very well in the summertime. Good.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2014 Clear golden colour, medium white head, flowery sweet smell in the beginning, witch transformes in a sharp hoppy grapefruit smell, very hoppy high bitter medium carbonation, sweet grapefruit like taste, quite a lot of taste for its 4,8% it is sort of an IPA like blond beer

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
It is an unclear blond beer with a good white foamy head. In the noise there are a lot a hops, more then you expect from the ij. Therefore there is a strong bitterness wich overpowers the signature yeast flavour of the ij beers. Very refreshing a really nice light beer.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A murky orange colour with a nice white head, lots of yeast in the bottle. Smell is grassy with citrus and yeast, taste is a lot of yeast and hop bitter with some lemon and grassy flavours, pleasantly dry mouthfeel that makes you want to drink more. All in all not too heavy on the flavour but it’s a very drinkable and balanced mix between an American pale ale and a Belgian blonde.

33 cl bottle @ home (right before Winter starts). Clear golden blonde color. Dense white head, with a 1/2 cm retention and good lacing. Aroma’s: grassy and fruity hops, a bit of (sweet) spices retronasal. Flavor is moderate bitter with some grain & fruit for backbone. Light bodied, quite high carbonation. Finishes rather bitter and dry. Surely good for Summer.

0,33l fles bij de stadskroeg in hoorn. Veel gist in deze troebele goudblonde met witte kraag. Geur citrus en gist, smaak gistbitter en trekkend. Aangenaam bier vol en bitter.

Bottle. Light golden, hazy, average to large and mostly lasting head. Moderate, malty - lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish aroma, light floral fruitiness with some citrus - herbal hoppyness. Body is medium, malty - lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish flavor, light fruitiness with light - some herbal - citrus hoppyness. Finish is average to long, malty - lightly wheaty and dryish, light fruitiness, some herbal - piney hoppyness. OK bitterness for Belgian 4,8% ale. Not too sweet/wheaty.
