On tap @ PINT Bokbier Festival 2012 (the 2012 issue of course). Brown color, cloudy. Firm head, off white to beige. Aroma’s: Grain, malt, retronasal also some sweetness, drop/laurel. Flavor is medium sweet, roasted. Medium body. Finishes roasted and medium bitter. Solid bock. erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - OCT 1, 2012
Deep brown bodied with stable beige frothy head. Standard but well executed nutty sweetness, brown sugar, some fudge and even chocolate, among a hint of cinnamon. Solid amount of sweetness with only the minimal classic hop backup. Bit of spice, not super interesting but much better than expected because of the well thought out recipe and solid brewing. Ending is just too short, but it’s a very decent bock altogether. (75cl bottle) joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 6, 2012
