Clear nutty dark amber, no head. The aroma is unfortunately faint and a bit fruity with some prunes and dark but lightly sweet grains. Flavor is the same; light and grainy, darkish sweet with a wee bit of raisin as if an afterthought.

Rich and rustic dunkel (and it is a dunkel--says so on the bottle). Fits lots of caramel and light chocolate malt flavors in its slender frame. Top notch dunkel.

Red amber color witha good head. Mildly malty, toasty aroma. Some fruit also in the aroma. Nice happy flavor with some bitters. Moderate mouthfeel. A good, drinkable beer.
