Aroma – Good amount of hops in the nose.
Appearance – Amber in color, Clear, with a thin head.
Flavor – Roasty malt flavor with a big hops flavoring added. Fruity grapefruit flavors.
Palate – Dry finish with a Nice Mouthfeel.
Overall – Very tasty IPA.
This is actually a new 2.0 recipe. Not sure if it should be rated separately or not. Starts with good hop aromas and flavors. Doesn’t kill the palette like a lot of IPAs but still brings with it a lot of great hoppiness.

Hophead IPA 2.0-on tap-pours a white head and gold color. Aroma is pine. Taste is resin/pine hops with dry bite, secondary light malt. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Tasted on tap at the brewpub 10/25/2008. This IPA pours a light orange gold color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet with a touch of floral hops. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are mildly earthy and floral. Very low bitterness, and a touch too sweet for an IPA. Even for an English Style IPA, this one is a lacking hop bitterness. There is some hop bitterness at the finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. I have to say this was pretty enjoyable, with some intriguing hop varietals that don’t necessarily clash, but you have the the citrus, you have the floral, and the fruit, all combining to make a very unique nose. The malt background is immdeiately apparent. Well balanced and well kept, with a creamy palate. Finishes clean and bitter, very well done. Bradrcr (806) - Renton, Washington, USA - APR 27, 2008
Tablerock hophead ipa 7 2 15 4 7
3/7/08 on draught at the brewpub. Aroma is verysweet and seems almost caramel dominant at first, but then moves into a citrus tone. Appearance is hazy gold with a moderate maintained white head. Flavor is very sweet, but the hops come through more, with strong earthiness and citrus; the balance is exceptiopnal , even at warm temps. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a ver low carb texture and light creaminess. Overall, a very interesting IPA with almost no flavor integration but an excellent balance betweeen 3 otherwise clashing flavors.
