This is outstanding for someone that is looking for an agressive over the top hoppy beer. I prefer a little more balance, but it is interesting to see a NW brewer do a true west-coast style IPA. The hops are obviously apparent in the nose and on the palate, with a sweet caramel malt background that does its best to keep up but just cannot stand the onslaught. This is the kind of beer that is so dry that your palate is kind of ruined for anything else afterwards. Pucker power. Bradrcr (806) - Renton, Washington, USA - APR 27, 2008
3/7/08 on draught at the brewpub. Aroma is highly floral with citrus characteristics dominatingm followed by a light grassy note. Malt is almost nonexistant. Appearance is hazy gold with a moderate maintained off white head. Flavor is a combination of earthy and citrus hop characteristics forward, followed by a sweet malt note to nicely balance out. Mouthfeel is dry and well attenuated with a low carb feel and lingering resiny finisy. Overall, this is a classic American IIPA with all the characteristics of hops popping up in this beer. Draught sample at brewery. Big grapefruit and resin nose, grassy and fresh. Sweet malty character, though subdued. Dark amber body, hazy, with foamy lacing off-white head. Medium body with soft carbonation. Malty sweet start with candi sugar, apricots, and pears. Juicy, grassy. Mild bitter finish that grows in the aftertaste. Puckering. Nce IPA. Draft: Pours a nice murky orange amber with a large white head and good lacing. Hops are the dominate presence with floral and ctirus tones mostly. A little grassy as well. Nice balance and overall a well done IPA.

Quite a nice IPA, substantial, citrusy hopping over a nice, caramelly and doughy malt body; a local favorite I seem to have missed rating to this point. IndianaRed (5031) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 13, 2006

Hazy orange amber witha modest white head and lots of persistant lacing. Aroma is very citrusy. Flavor is a nice balance, of citrus, orange hops and soft dark malts. Not very hoppy for the style but well rounded and easy to put down. Smooth and soft feel with plenty of body. oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 2, 2006
Pours a nice deep amber color. Aromas of hops/hops/citrus. Strong hop flavors with malts and a dry finish. pinkzambia (2073) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 29, 2005
On Tap at Table Rock: Clear gold coloe with sticky lacing. Grassy flavors stuck out to me the most with a great bitter taste. Not over done like some IPA’s. It has a smooth and creamy feel. This is an IPA I could drink all the time. Pretty good. Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - AUG 16, 2004
Deep golden and clear with a nice head. Sweet and chalky malts. Flavors of chocolate and cookie. Grassy hops with a touch of grapefruit. Not as bitter as I expected. Not great, but OK IPA.
