Mild, gentle smell of carpet, slight fruity, pineappley bit. After being shaken it’s an opaque nearly pure white pour with a very few tiny half grains of rice at the top. Taste is sharp and acidic, moves into rice cake flavour, yeastiness, tastes aged. It’s got an acidic bite to it and has a body heavy from so much rice sediment, feels silky. A great introduction to Makkeoli. Overall impression is a sour, funky rice wine.
