Draft to taster at the brewpub. This batch is 9.5% and 95 IBUs. Looks good for the style; a mostly transparent darker golden orange with off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells fruity, piney, and lightly floral alongside a moderately bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells, but less hoppy and more malty. Some caramel on the tongue as well. Mouthfeel is medium to medium full-bodied. Solid, but smells better than it tastes. drsordr (2973) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - SEP 1, 2017

On tap at Taft’s. Hazy light orange with medium white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, medium body, medium carbonation, and pretty lacing. Taste is juicy tropical fruit, some herbal hops, and nice malt balance. Best of my flight. drfabulous (9004) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUL 5, 2016
Draught at brewpub.Nice double IPA with a very smooth hop presence and low malty. Slightly tropical. Well done. Dogbrick (14389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 30, 2016
Sample at the brewpub. Clear copper-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of citrusy hops, pine and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Draft at source - nose is mosaic and a little resin. Sip adds citrus peel and juicy juice. Kapow what a wallop o’ bitterness. Not to be taken lightly. Maltier as it warms. phaleslu (10969) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 19, 2016
Draft at the main bar, served in a pint glass (!). Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a small white head that lasts pretty much all the way down and laces the glass. Nice punch of fresh hops here, delivering juicy citrus and tropical fruits along with herbs and spice, complemented by a sweet caramel malt base and some honey-like sweetness, too. Some wisps of florals throughout. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a balanced mouthfeel between bitter, juicy, and sweet/malty. Very nice. alexsdad06 (11392) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JAN 16, 2016
Draft to taster at Taft’s upstairs. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have citrus and tropical fruit, peppery, grass, some earthy, resiny notes as well, toasted malts, light caramel, solid. Tmoney99 (15223) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 16, 2016
Tap sample. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex hop aroma. Medium body with slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. This beer met my expectations.
