Pours a hazed golden yellow with suds of white head. Seasoned lemony aroma. Light bodied refreshing spiced and light lemon character.

Notes: on tap at the brew pub, June ’17

Bottle from Bottleworks.

The Tahoe Mountain stuff has been high variance thus far -- some high 3’s, some mid to high 2’s. This one definitely in the upper category. Fairly rich orange pour, hazy. Modest head. Comes on fairly tart especially at first, but the palate quickly acclimates. Blood orange is quite subdued, actually. You can tell it’s there, but it’s backgrounded. The beer is funky, but not the best kind of funk. Still, not unpleasant and especially as it warms I find myself really enjoying the bottle. It’s gone far too fast. A good one.

375, capped. Thanks for bringing this back, babe! Pours a clear dark amber with no head or lace. Dry tangy pithy nose, lightly sweetened grain under an intense dry fruity piercing note. Creamy medium body with very little carb. Lightly sweetened cereal under an intense sharp dry pithy fruit character. With some more carbonation, this one could be a world-beater.

Bottle from the brewery to glass. The orange is muted and spiciness from the saison is more pronounced. Deep golden with white head.

3.3

Bottle. Amber beer with an off-white head. Orange and yeast aroma. Yeast and orange flavor with light malt. Medium bodied. Orange and malt linger with yeast and light spice.

For having orange, the aroma is a little lacking in citrus and this is kind of a pale yellow. A light, airy loft to the body. Pretty good stuff.
