UPDATED: JAN 9, 2006 Large bottle (1L I think), bought in Taiwan. Classic clear-golden yellow pale lager appearance. Surprisingly, I can pick out some green hops in the aroma. Palate is on the thin side, but finishes nicely with a very mild hop note. Better than I expected-- I wonder if this is because I had it in its country of origin (and maybe therefore it was fresher)?

Bottled. Pale golden coloured. Very weak aroma. Weak and quite sweet flavour. Watery.

Clear golden appearance. Strong lemony aroma and flavor, pretty sweet, almost shandy-ish, mild bitterness in the finish. An OK refresher.

Engelsmann (651) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 26, 2005
Bottled. Pours a clear golden, with a white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy. Staste is sweet, with just a tad hoppy bitterness. A rather bland beer.

Got this in a can, poured it into a glass. Saw tons of floating debri in the beer, not good appearance at all. The taste is of putrid rice water and a weird sweetness is present, very idustrial tasting. The can design is about as appealing as its flavor.

If in Taiwan, stick with Coke--it comes in bottles anyway. Not a beer worth taking home, even if the catchy name convinces you.

A pleasant aroma upon opening but after that its all down hill.A strange mouthfeel with a lingering dryness. It claims to have won gold medals but were? Reminds me of Heineken-yes its that poor.

Pretty standard Asian lager, not much but a sweetish taste. Tasted it, rated it...enough.

Mullo (102) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAY 15, 2005
Fairly plain. Reminded me of Carling, with the soapiness. Over gassed. Not much in the malting, or the hopping.

IslandHaole (1268) - Misawa, JAPAN - APR 28, 2005
Bottle-Typical Asian Lager look, clear light/medium Gold. White head. Scent of wet cardboard, some sweetness. Vegetal, sweet, papery. Medium body, a lower end of the scale brew, even by Asian standards.
