I am sure this blows stateside but it is good, cheap beer when it’s fresh. It is very much in the European pilsner-ish style with a nice touch of floral, grassy hops in the nose--though it is not a pilsner by any means. It is nice and dry with crisp carbonation and a touch of cereal grains. Ernest (7822) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 12, 2015
Bottle at Sergio’s, Louisville KY.
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is light to medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (wort, grain, husks), with a note of paper.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean, husky.
Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation.
A shameless country tick. Obviously kinda old but clearly garbage. csaso (2321) - Missouri, USA - JAN 5, 2015
Bottle - small foamy head, pale straw gold color, sweet malt/corn aroma and flavor, very mild hop balance, pretty generic pale lager, not awful but certainly nothing special

Draft/Can/Bottle various locations around Taiwan. I had this during my trip to Taiwan several years ago and cold it was your typical pale gold macro lager with a light body and crisp plain taste. Not sure if I’d drink this outside of Taiwan but inside it’s fresh and an ok macrolager, well as ok a macrolager can be. Borup (15373) - Albertslund, DENMARK - NOV 5, 2014

Licht geel bier met weinig schuim. Blik 33cc. Licht zoete ietwat kunstmatige smaak. Blijft wel lang hangen. Matig bier. EdKing (2649) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2014
Can from a 7/11 in Taipei. Pale yellow, white foam head. Nose is cereal grain, cardboard, slight caramel, toasted grain or puffed rice, little bit of something citrous. Taste is quite cardboard forward, cereal grain, toasted rice or grain, bit of acidic citrous. Salmoniform (1281) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - OCT 20, 2014
Poured from bottle to glass. Golden hue with creamy white head that dissipated to a ring. Aroma is cereal, corn, straw. Mouthfeel is nice with a light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry with a slight sulphur finish. Overall this is a decent Pilsner type brew. pictoman (1212) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 27, 2014

330 ml can as “Classic Taiwan Beer” bought at CR Vanguard in Nathan Road, Yau Ma Tei.
Piss pale golden yellow colour; Half finger head and soapy white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Small sticky lacing with notable small carbonation; Fairly pungent smell of malt, with rice, light syrup, hint of floral, bread and very light grass; Very light sweet taste of thin malt, with heavy metallic, strong rice, strong wet cardboard, sourness, band aid, rubbing alcohol, faint lemon, bitter hops and grass; Light body, watery palate; Mouth feel is fouled and very harsh - thin malt to start, infected sourness, awfully strong metallic and wet cardboard, matched by band aid and fusel - Fuck!... Hoppiness is floral hint and faint grass nose, thin lemon and grass in taste. Bitterness is notable for a Pale, in a screwed up light bitter finish; Wet after taste, very harsh to mouth.
Comments: This is in a can and it’s fouled and infected. Metal, band-aid, fusel, wet paper and sourness, all hell breaks lose. An instant Classic drain pours. Never again!
