Slight hop and malt aroma. Medium modied, crisp, mildly bitter with solvent like chemical taste that lingers in mouth after swollowing. At 99 cents for a 22oz bottle, it gets the job done. Cartoonkhaki (1286) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 30, 2002

Pale yellow. White fizzy head. Light malt and some DMS on the nose. Light body. Clean, light malt flavour. Sully (1380) - Potts Point, New South Wales, AUSTRALIA - JUL 28, 2003
I like the fact that this is honoured worldwide and I am the 29th person to rate this. I had it in Taipei which is only to say that the contents of the can were fresher than most. Nothing more to be said that itiis a lager that has rice as an adjunct, meaning more alcohol with less body and flavour. jsquire (4492) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - OCT 23, 2004
So I got the can at Beers of the World. I hope it is a bottle conditioned can because I got a ton of floaties in here. The beer pours a murky golden with the floaties and a thin white head. Sweet yeasty nose of candi sugar and pears. The initial sensation is water, but there is a lot of funky sweetness in it. Spoiled orange juice, white sugar, copper penny and aluminum can. It does have an almost Belgian sweetness to it, but it just tastes clumsy.

Bottled. Pours a clear golden, with a white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy. Staste is sweet, with just a tad hoppy bitterness. A rather bland beer. DubC5000 (305) - San Francisco, California, USA - SEP 28, 2007
Smells like apple grape juice, and tastes like a cross between apple juice and Heineken. Not much else to say... can sort of taste the rice adjunct influence, but it isn’t altogether unpleasant. onystrom (1333) - Magellan Hunter! - Skanderborg, DENMARK - JAN 11, 2008
Pale yellow color with small head. Too carbonated and without the usually asien sweetness. Bitter. FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 10, 2008
350ml can - thanks to a friendly nun!Onslow (1496) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - NOV 2, 2008
Pale gold, large but brief fizzy head. Orangy or lemony sharp fruity aroma, a touch of whole maize. Slightly fizzy palate, a little watery. Very papery taste, dry, ever so brief spicy ginger hint, some other dodgy tanginess, and tingly hop extract sensation for a finish. Improves as it flattens and warms, becomes more malty. Better than many a macro lager.
Pour from a 600 ml bottle. Deep yellow color, noticeable sediment in the pour. (I had stored this on its side in the fridge, so the sediment was probably stirred up when I opened the bottle.) Aroma is sweet malt or corn, with insidious sour vegetal and glue like overtones. Flavor follows the aroma - bland sweetness followed by a vegetal / gluey sourness. Palate is thin and watery. Glad I only bought the one bottle...
