COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dark red Irish red with roasty overtones and a subtle, apple, fruity finish. Our most popular brew with a much sweeter finish than expected from the dark color.

While this was not on tap today when I went to the tasting room at the brewery I did have this when I went to the Good Beer Festival in Salisbury in October. This was very tasty and very good. This beer is an excellent Irish Red Ale and has a great mouthfeel and is very drinkable. I highly recommend this brewery and I feel that this brewery will be going places as they become more established on the Eastern Shore Region. ---Rated by E. Rhodes via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Total Wine, South Richmond. Pours brown with a dusting of an off-white head. Strange chemical aroma with a hint of dark fruits. Flavor is that same chemical aroma put into liquid form, with some random fruit flavoring (probably marked on the powdered package they dump in simply as "fruit"). What is this shit?

Bottle from Wegmans. Pours coppery with tan head. Earthy, dark fruit nose, some vienna malt, acetaldehyde in the flavor, earthy, lighter palate.

12 oz. bottle from nimbleprop. Deep dark brown and some amber hues. A quick falling beige head that leaves a remnant. I get some dark bread and biscuits. Possible infection.

Bottle from dad. Overly sweet to me and something is a little unbalanced. It tastes like it could be pretty good if something were tweaked a little bit.

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 9, 2016
bottle. Pours a clear dark ruby body, much darker than the usual Irish Ale, with a small fizzy beige head. The nose is sweet and slightly husky malt with a little cherry like fruitiness. The flavor isn’t all that wonderful, but its better than the Blonde that I had from this brewery. Slightly sweet with a husky and grainy middle, lingering grainy finish. A very light bitterness level, what hops are in here are dominated by the sweetness. Light to medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. It’s not bad, but I would prefer the style to be a little drier.
