Look: pours a dark orange color. Thick white head. Thin lacing.
Smell: tropical fruit. Very sweet. Mango. Pineapple.
Taste: bitterness. Not as much tropical fruit as the smell. Slight maltiness in the middle.
Feel: very dry. Leaves a heavy film on the mouth.
Overall: ok beer. Wish they had done more on the taste addition of the hops to match the smell.
First drank: home 8/3/14

can @ John’s Grocery / Iowa City IA --- Clear medium amber with a 3" fluffy white head that lasts the entire drink. bands of lace. Aroma of hops and fruity malt. Taste is solid malt that is enveloped by floral/citrus hops that match nicely. An average strength hoppy brew that will satisfy all but the hopheads. Recommended. umich03jm (3513) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - JUL 14, 2014
Can thanks to tectactoe for sharing. Pours a cloudy amber color with a small foamy head that fades to a ring. Aroma is very grassy with some grapefruit and tropical fruit. Tastes pretty smooth and juicy. A mixture of grassy hops, caramel, and tropical fruit. Solid pale ale. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - JUL 14, 2014
Can: Hazy sunshine & burnt gold color with a frothy, dim white foam settling & lasting long on top. Lots of carbonation bubble streams rising. Aroma full of clean, grassy hops & weeds, light soapy element with brisk hops, mild orange rind, & the lightest finish of peach & honeydew. Taste is more floral than expected; lots of grass & weeds as well, retaining the zestiness & crispness I was getting in the aroma. A touch of grapefruit pith & orange rind bitterness, some herbal notes, & a lightly toasted malt character towards the back-end. Still mostly hop driven, though. Clean, finishing bitter bite with lingering notes of orange rind & melon. It might lack the "punch" of some other pale ales (especially Galaxy hopped ones) but I still thought this was quite tasty, and certainly & nice pale ale regardless. Can: The aroma consists of caramel, aged citrus hops, and light fruit. It pours a hazy golden-orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin film. The flavor starts with a quick dose of caramel and light fruit. The finish has some aged citrus hops. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel.
The can is awesome. A cool take on nostalgic videogames. And the brew is a solid pale. The price of admission is a little iffy, but with enough quarters and determination you to can reach a mega high score, and put your name on the wall and be the envy at the local arcade! Only if they were still around... M82 (469) - Kansas, USA - JUL 10, 2014
A hazed amber body sits beneath a fading two inch fluffy smooth head leaving dimensional peninsulas of lace reaching beyond a thick ring with a frothy island

A somewhat pungent balance of tropical, citrus, and earthy grass characteristics with a subtle green melon influence and a kiss of malty sweetness on a brightly carbonated light plus body finishing with a drying, very lean residual shifting the focus a bit more towards the melon component
Refreshing and bright with the classic pale ale earthiness, light plus intensity, decent complexity for the style, well integrated flavor components

Can out at lake Quivera; poured hazy orange, some off white head in the glass. Nose of herbal, melon hops, fair amount of caramel malts. Pacific NW hop profile with earthy, herbal hops and some caramel malt balance. Fairly light bodied and not as potent as one would expect after reading the ingredient profile. Day drinking beer ok
