Just like those classic video games we all grew up with, 8-Bit Pale Ale is spectacularly simple at first glance yet remarkably fun and complex when you get into it. Our Hop Rocket infuses the character of Australian grown Galaxy Hops into an American Pale Ale, giving a unique tropical, almost melon aroma in a classic American style.

16oz can from Lukas Liquors in Missouri. Best by 10/11/14. Shared with friends during Catan. Hazy golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good thicker bits of lace. Toasty light peppery malt nose. Some light tropical light citrus hop, but less than expected. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Light slick. More metallic flavor than expected and less hop, a little disappointing in that regard but still cool overall.

gold color with nice white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is light hops and malts. Flavor is grassy hops, grainy malts, and a hint of lemon.

Can (love the art work). Poured a golden color with an averaged sized off white head. Citrus, some floral hops, and pine. Hice hoppiness.

Can from Macadoodles, Pineville MO. Gold pour with a prominent creamy white head. Certainly an attractive beer. Bright lemon sherbet. A bit of sea salt. Dirt-covered grass roots. Light malt body, a bit toasty. Tropical citrus flavors. Dry bitter finish. LIght body, zippy mouthfeel. Overall, simple and elegant.

Pint can. Translucent yellow with a bubbly white head. Honeydew, dry white grape, grains, and viney aromas. Taste is dryly bitter. Medium body with a soapy feel.

On tap pours a hazy, yellow color with a foamy white head. Aroma is mild with wheat, citrus, and a touch of hops. Taste is smooth, mellow and delicious. Another must try smooth beer.

Bright citrus notes with bright hops coming through well balanced very refreshing i love this pale ale

hopbag (159) - - MAY 16, 2014
Aroma is citrus and American yeast. Very light pale straw color. Good carbonation aids a thin body. Tangy fruit and plenty of bitterness from the hops. Sweet bready Munich malt in the middle and finish. A fine entry for a light IPA.

EyeAmBaldman (461) - Illinois, USA - MAY 16, 2014
Pours a golden color with a white head. I really thought this would be hoppier. Tastes more like a farmhouse ale. Very disappointing.

An absolutely beautiful poured glass of beer. Great color and just enough head. A crisp bitter flavor.
