Appearance: clear deep gold with two fingers of loose ivory head diminishing gradually to a patchy skim, minimal lacing. (3/5) Aroma: lemon and grapefruit zest, pineapple, grainy pale malt, melon, grass. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, dry lingering emphatic bitter finish. (4/5)
Pretty darned close to a hop forward A/IPA, if you ask me. There’s a hint of Galaxy hops in there, coming through as melon behind the citrus zest and tropical fruit notes, but overall hops emphatically dominate over malt. The real surprise, though, is the lingering bitter finish, far more emphatic than one might normally expect given the at most middling-high IBU rating. Subtle? No, but good fun. (14/20)

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2017 Pint can stamped Drink By 4/9/17 so assumed almost 5 months old into a stange.
A: Poured a huge thick beige head atop pale orange gold with busy bubbles of different sizes. Dogged retention and thick lacing.
S: Crisp bread with orange flesh and zest. Slight sweet tropical note of maybe pineapple.
T: Pine hits first with very bitter grapefruit pith following. Faint tropical fruit and wood finish.
M: Light to medium weight with crisp carbonation, sticky finish.
O: Pretty good overall. Thick with hops. Similar to Ripper but tastier. Ronritter (875) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAR 2, 2017
16 oz can pours clear gold with frothy whit head aroma is pleasent citrus and grass taste slight pineapple with pine dry finish SG111 (2143) - New York, USA - FEB 22, 2017
Best by 06/11/17. Pours filtered honey orange, off white head. Aroma is grass, lemon, pine, orange, grapefruit rind, lemongrass, lemondrop. Fairly lemongrass heavy. Clove, maybe melon. I know those don’t go together, but here we are. Flavor is malty biscuit, lemon rind, spot of clove, very heavy aspirin astringency. That’s unfortunate. Wow, that heavy heavy bitter finish destroys this one. It’s really pleasant up front, but that is horrendously bitter. willisread (3803) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 14, 2017
Tallboy can BB 04/28/17. Pours a slightly hazy, deep gold with a finger of foam. Light grassy nose with some pine and pineapple. Bit of yeast on the palate, dry with a light-ish body. Dry finish with some bitterness.

16 oz can. BB 08/18/16. Thanks Jere!milewide (2332) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - FEB 10, 2017
Cloudy golden color with a small white head.
Sweetish fruity hops, moderate bitterness and some malt in the aroma. Quite fresh even if it’s 6 months past BB date.
The flavor is pungent hops, candies, harsh bitterness and dryish malt.
Lots of hop flavor. Average aroma. Hop mix is excellent. Their $1.99 per 12 ounce can is competitive in MI. olio (10692) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 10, 2017

Pours hazy golden color with a small head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity with mandarin and orange, some piney notes and citrus. Flavor is quite bitter, citric fruity, grapefruits, malty notes and gooseberries. Doesn’t feel as old as it is, decent.
From the can to a pint glass. Decent American pale ale. Nice aroma, decent full-bodied palate. Mildly hoppy, mildly bitter. Good stuff!
