16 oz. can. Pours lightly hazy orange-amber with a thin disc of loose foam. Aroma is citrus, caramel, biscuit and dusty toasted grain. Taste has light citrus zest and resin, caramel, green herb, soured orange and a dusty-toasted corn finish that shows hints of dry cocoa. Near-medium body incorporates a medium-high carbonation that borders on annoying, but has a nice balance. JHeath99 (1679) - Warner Robins, Georgia, USA - AUG 4, 2015
Can shared by sonnycheeba. Pours a slightly hazy golden with fizzy creamy head. Aroma and taste of floral hops and bread malts with nice carbonation. MNAle (216) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 29, 2015
Amber color, 1.5 inch off-white head that recedes slowly, leaving some lacing. Moderate to active carbonation. Typical pale ale hoppy aroma. Nice but as expected. Initial taste is a bit malt-forward, with the hops coming through in the middle. A nicely bitter aftertaste. Tingles the tongue and has a moderate feel - not thin, but not thick, either. This is a very well made, nicely balanced, tasty pale ale. Recommended.

I’ve yet to have a mediocre Tallgrass brew. This is another fine Tallgrass product. A great smooth brew that is very easy to drink and refreshing. Light ale with pale hop flavor and smooth, light bitterness. A bit peppery as well. rosskyle (755) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 3, 2015

16 oz can poured into a tulip-style pint glass. Thanks to my friend Ed for the trade. Clear yellow with 3-4 fingers of off-white head. Aromas of aged hops, biscuit, light citrus fruit and peel. Tastes of biscuit, citrus fruit and peel, aged hops. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Probably past prime but no best by date. justsayswell (281) - Kansas City, Kansas, USA - MAY 28, 2015
Can. Clear light Amber pour. Massive pillowy off-white head. Lots of lacing. Estery nose. Faint grassy hop, and pale malt. Medium mouthfeel. Lots of tropical fruit and grassy hops. Almost no bitterness intially, but it slowly builds into the finish which is slightly malty/crackery sweet and faintly bitter. Different but not bad. Sessionable. 16oz can. Pours orangish with a small white head. Aroma is of hops, grapefruit, grass, and bread. Also a little cantaloupe. Taste is of hops, slight citrus, and a lot of grass. Slight hop burn in the finish. Not all that much in the taste. Mouthfeel is medium, and the finish is dry. Body is medium, with a fair amount of carbonation. It’s pretty bland. It’s not bad, there’s just not much there.
