12 ounce can

Stumbling across a couple of Tallgrass beers on a recent beer provided the opportunity to reacquaint myself with a brewery I only have sampled at festivals. This run of the mill berliner weiss didn't alter my previous opinions much. I'll still grab one or two more if the price is right but unless I need a few more Kansas ticks immediately I will be in no rush.
Aroma / Appearance - A golden bronze base shelters under a thick ivory head. Blueberry pie fresh from the oven lightens the air with a sweet note.
Flavor / Palate - Lemon custard, blueberry jam, and fresh pie smothered in vanilla ice cream treat the palate to a dessert profile. The balanced profile more resembles a standard American fruit beer than a Berliner Weisse. I give them high marks for effort but ultimately this doesn't capture the essence of the style.
Bright pale from a can. Big foaming head. Smells a little artificial sweet. First taste is oh so good, much better than expected for the nose. Bubbly refreshing fun stuff. A little bit of blueberry sets in at the end of each swig. Nice, fresh fun. Yummy, tart treat. A little metallic in the middle but there is no hint of artificial in the taste of this brew. Not bad. Good zesty experience. The domestics are catching up with the real thing. beer_rookie (735) - Arkansas, USA - JAN 5, 2018
Pours a cloudy honey color. One to two finger white head. Pretty good retention. Good lacing.Ratman197 (15866) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JAN 5, 2018
Aroma is blueberry. Lightly sour. Lightly bready.
Taste is light sour. Blueberry. Is it real, artificial? Meh. Light salt.
Mouthfeel is light bodied. Light sour, light tart. Repeatable.
Overall, not as good as the raspberry. Not bad, not great. Not impressed. Would probably buy it again, but not recommend it.
Can poured a hazy gold with a small lasting creamy white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, citrus and light blueberry. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry tart finish. Flavors of wheat, citrus, light blueberry and light yeast with a smooth dry tart finish. mcberko (20442) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 28, 2017
12 oz. can, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out blueberries, a touch of lacto and a bit of phenols. Flavour is very juicy, with big blueberry notes upfront, followed by lacto and biscuity malt. Lots of juicy blueberry, with a soft wheaty palate. Good stuff.

12oz can, drink by 01/18/18. Clear golden color with a medium head that sticks around a bit. Aroma is base dull wheat beer with a fun fake blueberry and some fake-ish acidity. Definitely seems like added acidity. Flavor is similarly dominated by fakeness that comes off a decent combination of elements. I mean, I wouldn't buy it again but I don't hate it. Hazy, bright golden amber, small head. Strong blueberry aroma. Overall experience is liquid blueberry muffin. ajnepple (7684) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - DEC 3, 2017
12 oz single can from Molly's Spirits. Hazy orange colored appearance with a small white head. Aroma of blueberries, bread, mild wheat and light grains. Similar flavor, adding mild malt sweetness and a light fruity tartness. Light bodied and easy to drink, kind of refreshing overall. balloonbuffoon (845) - - DEC 1, 2017
12floz can, BBD: 12.29.2017, $1.75 unit cost, pint glass. Pours with large fizzy head, which rescinds to a spotty layer atop a lightly cloudy golden body. The artificial blueberry is a drawback, but I don't mind it smells like blueberry cereal. This is an appropriate fruited berliner weisse; however, the fruity sour saltiness does not jibe well with me. Lemon juice and blueberry extract noted. pkbites (1014) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 26, 2017
Hazy gold pour. Dead head white dies instantly. Light blueberry cereal aroma. Soury flavor with mixed berries but mostly blue. Better than I anticipated. Can.
