16 oz can. Pours an deep, brown-black with a rootbeer-like head, decent retention. Nose is cocoa, some vanilla and butterscotch, roasted barley. Mouth is thin -- almost watery -- certainly not creamy as in the description, and wayyyyy too light on the palate. I’m not saying a stout needs to be 10W40 by definition, but I’ll honestly say Dr.Pepper has more body. Super-light sweetness (although not a natural sweetness... but I’ll get to that), some cocoa, barley, wheat puffs, chocolate and some butterscotch. Speaking of soft drinks, this has an odd, almost diet soda aftertaste that doesn’t leave any of the desirable traits on the palate that I’d look for in a stout, but definitely plenty of the aforementioned aftertaste. Disappointed would be an understatement. I’d rather have had spent the money on a stout as ubiquitous as Guinness (and would’ve had money left for a bag of chips). Nice aroma of coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, and hints of vanilla. Ebony with a nice whitish tan head. Roasted malt, on the semi sweet side up front. Sweetness is muted. Notes of dark choclate and coffee. Finsihes slightly dry, with a sweet coffee flavor, and some sublte bitterness. Watery mouth feel. O.k. Barnoloid (277) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 1, 2014
Can pour into pint glass. Pours a pitch dark color with a thin and reedy off white head. Nose is milk chocolate and filter coffee. A very smooth cream stout with a great lactose feel to it. No real hop presence here, with only a limited bitterness. But hops are not what you came for here. Solid. peterschreurs (113) - Illinois, USA - OCT 19, 2014

Can. Pours dark brown with fizzy tan head that quickly dissipates. Flavor is lacto, chocolate and roasted malts, fig, raisins, and faint earthiness. Flavor is creamy chocolate, smooth roast malts, lacto, dark fruit notes, and faint earthy hops. Medium body and carbonation. HIGHB4LL (837) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - SEP 17, 2014
16 oz. can from Party Time Liquor in Spearfish. Appearance: 2 fingers brown head that does not last, dark brown color, clear. Aroma: roast, milk chocolate, light oatmeal and biscuits, light floral. Palate: full body, average carbonation, creamy texture, light bitter finish. Taste: sweet milk chocolate, with light oatmeal sweet malt, and into a light coffee bitterness that finalizes into a solid bitterness. Overall, very smooth, like the light alcohol for the style, very drinkable, very fine beer. ibrubeer (383) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - SEP 17, 2014

Received in a trade -- Drank straight out of the can, didn’t bring any glassware on vacation with me. This is one of the creamiest Stouts I have ever drank. Very pleasant.
