Uniquely different and easy to drink. Big hints of coffee up front both in smell and taste, a chocolaty goodness thats not too carbonated and with only a touch of bitter after taste. Dont let the name dissuade you. Its well worth a taste.

Can courtesy of my brothers summer vacation trip. Pours a medium stout brown with a mocha colored head. Nose is cocoa, earth, lactose, chocolate, some cafe con leche, and a nice mild coffee note. Flavor is similar- some light coffee, cocoa, and chocolate. Medium in body and very nice for 5% ABV.

Can from Blue Dog and Capones. Pours burnt sienna with tan head. Nose is big roasty dark malt, cacao, mild vanilla. Tastes smooth, with the dark malt predominating, and backup hops, cacao, and an overall creamy roastiness.

Very dark pour with a medium sized tan head. Smell is coffee, chocolate, and maybe a little bit of vanilla and some brown sugar? molasses. Smooth and easy drinking stout with just the right amount of sweetness, not overbearing. Heavy lacing on my glass throughout the beer. Glad to have this stout around Iowa.

Had this beer at the Cedar Rapids Farmers Market. It was a hot day, so I was a little wary trying such a dark beer. However I was rewarded with a very smooth creamy taste with a hint of chocolate. Very good, would purchase more.

Poured from a can. Nice head that leaves a little brown lace as it dissipates. Smells of roasted malt. Creamy taste, smooth without aftertaste. It is sweet, and I could probably drink a whole pack of these without feeling full.

Purchased at Breeze Thru Liquors in Milwaukee, WI; enjoyed on a hot summer night on a lake before fireworks in St. Germain, WI. Appearance a very dark chocolate brown with a creamy off white head. Aroma of oats and light lactose, also a bit of nuts, doesnt smell overtly sweet, but smells nice. Taste is nice and chocolatey, not too milky, definitely oatey, pretty good oatmeal stout.
