Lots of coffee flavor and aroma. Very creamy tan head. Very dark color. Delicious breakfast stout in the opinion of someone who does not much care for breakfast stouts. jcartamdg (3409) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 26, 2012
Pours dark brown. Aroma of chocolate and sesame. Taste follows. Different for a stout. Very interesting.

Can into Duvel tulip
A Almost black with two finger off white head.
S Roasty, a bit of malty sweetness
T Roasty, a bit sweet, just a hint sour at the back
M Thin, could use a bit more carbonation
O Overall a fine beer, for a 5% stout you can’t ask for much more. I probably wouldn’t buy it again, but its by no means bad. savnac (2391) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - JUL 17, 2012
16oz can from a Yellowstone gift shop. Dark brown with a fast dissipating light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, lactose, coffee and roast. Flavor is dry cocoa, sweet caramel and a mild roasty bitterness. Medium body with a thick, creamy mouth feel. Really nice sweet stout, lots of body and creaminess but not overly sweet. Mmmm. Buffalo Sweat is a good, dark beer, and I just love the name. Paints a nice mental image that whets your palette, no?

Uniquely different and easy to drink. Big hints of coffee up front both in smell and taste, a chocolaty goodness that’s not too carbonated and with only a touch of bitter after taste. Don’t let the name dissuade you. It’s well worth a taste. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JUL 15, 2012
Can courtesy of my brother’s summer vacation trip. Pours a medium stout brown with a mocha colored head. Nose is cocoa, earth, lactose, chocolate, some cafe con leche, and a nice mild coffee note. Flavor is similar- some light coffee, cocoa, and chocolate. Medium in body and very nice for 5% ABV. mexrat (1) - Kansas, USA - JUL 11, 2012 does not count

Can from Blue Dog and Capone’s. Pours burnt sienna with tan head. Nose is big roasty dark malt, cacao, mild vanilla. Tastes smooth, with the dark malt predominating, and backup hops, cacao, and an overall creamy roastiness. iabeerguy (392) - Iowa, USA - JUL 11, 2012
Very dark pour with a medium sized tan head. Smell is coffee, chocolate, and maybe a little bit of vanilla and some brown sugar? molasses. Smooth and easy drinking stout with just the right amount of sweetness, not overbearing. Heavy lacing on my glass throughout the beer. Glad to have this stout around Iowa.
