COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We often hear from fans who swore they’d never enjoy a stout — until they tried Buffalo Sweat. Some have described its rich taste, creamy mouthfeel and sweet, lingering finish as liquid chocolate chip cookies made with espresso. If you only try one dark beer in your life, Buffalo Sweat will change your entire perception of how a stout should taste.

Nice sweet stout that doesn’t have too much alcohol. Good bit of body and nice head. Pretty enjoyable.

It is a pretty tasty little brew. It goes down really smoothly, nice cocoa and caramel flavors with some coffee.

Bottle. Pour is dark. Nose of roast and coffee. Taste is mild sweetness but a bit thin. Smooth. Sessionable dark beer.

Can. Pour is deep brown with a small khaki head. Slight roasted malt character, chocolate, and some sweet cream. Sweet flavors and slightly sugary. Dark chocolate, cream, a hint of gas station coffee (my fav). Medium body. Maybe a tad thin. Pretty solid.

Can at Oliver Twist.
Aroma domiated by coffe. Taste of coffe and chocolate, finishes rather quick and thin.
Like a smoother porter.

Can. Very elegant porter-like stout. Notes of coffee beans, toffee and milk chocolate. Not the most aggressive stout. The dryness in the aftertaste is quite heavy though. Well balnced and refreshing.

Date: August 10, 2011 Mode: Draft Source: Grandma’s Sports Garden, Duluth, MN Appearance: Opaque dark brown with no head. Aroma: Strong coffee. Flavor: Consistent with aroma, smooth, light bodied and a little watery. Other: Not a big fan, seemed like more of a porter than stout.

Draught. Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Smells roasty and nutty with some spicy undertones. Tastes of roasted malt with some earthy peppery hints on the finish.

3.3
Elwood (3347) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - AUG 7, 2011
Draft at Vintage 51. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Very roasty coffee nose for a sweet stout. The flavor carries over to the taste. Roasty with a little creaminess, but dry and slightly flinty on the back end. More of a sweet stout dry stout cross. Not bad and drinkable.

jandd1983 (4637) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - AUG 6, 2011
It poured a dark brown color with a small lingering tan head. The aroma was of roasted malt, coffee, bakers cocoa and light vanilla. The flavor was of roasted malt, bitter chocolate, light vanilla and a hint of coffee with a smooth dry lingering roasty finish.
