3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Roasted malt aroma and flavor. Not particular exciting but can’t be faulted. Good standard stout . A bit sweater than your average stout.
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2018 Black with tan head. Some chocolate and oats, and a little roasty. Dark malts, a little coffee, a little chocolate, a little bland. Not really creamy. randy1969 (137) - Marengo, Illinois, USA - FEB 5, 2018
Aroma of roasted chocolate malt. Pours a pretty nice dark brown color, with a pretty nice thick/creamy tan head. Sweet chocolate and vanilla taste up front. Light coffee and toasted bread in the finish with more lingering creamy chocolate in the aftertaste. The creamy texture is appreciated, medium body with a smooth finish joedallas (5) - - FEB 4, 2018 does not count
Bought can. Wasnt expecting much from a small brewery, but pleasantly surprised. Aroma is oatmeal. Taste is sweet with notes of oatmeal and chocolate. As someone else said, Much better than we were expecting from a can.

Deep black with a thin tan head. Aroma is nutty, dark chocolate and espresso. Malty sweet taste with a smooth coffee background. Creamy palate with a light bitter finish. Body is on the lower end of medium but the beer comes across as much heavier. Very nice. patandkendra (12) - Hebron, Indiana, USA - JAN 5, 2018

Can. Probably from wombat23. Pours very dark brown and leaves a frothy tan head. Aroma is oatmeal, roasted grains, light hints of chocolate. Pleasant but not hugely alluring. The taste is the beers strength: oatmeal sweet, creamy, with a roasted coffee bitterness and a light tang at the end. A good complexity for a fairly light beer. The body stays lighter than average for the style, barely rising to medium. The carbonation is soft. Overall a very nice brew that might be an excellent one if it carried more heft. ads135 (5234) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - NOV 14, 2017
I’m a big fan of this beer. Tried it for the first time in 2009. Sweet, thick, and soft on the tongue. Thought this was a sweet stout at first. Rich and chocolatey, bread and aromatic. DraftTamer10 () - - NOV 10, 2017
Dark black with a rich creamy head. On the sweeter and thinner side but very drinkable. Almost a session-able stout. unclefrito62 (408) - Stow, Ohio, USA - NOV 1, 2017
