4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Love this beer as it is a very sessionable Stout. Appearance is what you would expect from a Stout. Taste is rich in the beginning, but does not linger on the back of the palate which makes me want to take drink after drink. Overall, very enjoyable.
Can. Probably from wombat23. Pours very dark brown and leaves a frothy tan head. Aroma is oatmeal, roasted grains, light hints of chocolate. Pleasant but not hugely alluring. The taste is the beers strength: oatmeal sweet, creamy, with a roasted coffee bitterness and a light tang at the end. A good complexity for a fairly light beer. The body stays lighter than average for the style, barely rising to medium. The carbonation is soft. Overall a very nice brew that might be an excellent one if it carried more heft. ads135 (5053) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - NOV 14, 2017
I’m a big fan of this beer. Tried it for the first time in 2009. Sweet, thick, and soft on the tongue. Thought this was a sweet stout at first. Rich and chocolatey, bread and aromatic. DraftTamer10 () - - NOV 10, 2017
Dark black with a rich creamy head. On the sweeter and thinner side but very drinkable. Almost a session-able stout. unclefrito62 (355) - Stow, Ohio, USA - NOV 1, 2017
!2 ounce can at home. No head, dark brown in nature.Aroma is bland, Not much smell. Malty in taste and very smooth. Some notes of chocolate in the taste. Nice brew for a chilly night. MrTipple (6578) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 29, 2017
Intense, dark roast malts, dark roast coffee. Hazy, dark brown, tiny, creamy, beige head. Light bitter. More dark chocolate, cacao, dark bitter brown malts, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Alright. Keg at GABF17, Denver.

B+. Pours a black color with khaki head. Full of flavor and easy beer to drink. Namespayne (67) - - SEP 16, 2017
Low carbonation with a medium up small head that disappears very soon. Vague sensation of chocolate and malt and a finish so smooth it doesn't leave me with any real sense of an interesting flavor. An average craft stout at best. At the end of the night I prefer not to finish it and leave it for morning after taking a sip or two. It's really a better beer to have for breakfast than during the evening.

12 oz can from the Hwy 2 road trip. First Kansas tick. Aroma is dark bread, coffee, cinnamon, vanilla. Pours black with a one finger beige head with great retention and some lace. Taste starts out lightly sweet, finishing with a light dry bitterness. Good. willisread (3703) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 24, 2017
Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a deep brown to black with a small tan head that dissipates quickly. Cocoa Puffs on the nose, bit of cream. Well-balanced with more cocoa puff cereal, touch of bakers chocolate and peanut butter. Quite solid. fidemaster (336) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - JUN 22, 2017
Aroma is of chocolate, caramel, espresso all in one. This beer pours a rich dark black. Starts of sweet, with chocolate, espresso, chocolate, caramel, and malt. Finish is a bit sweet, and smooth and creamy. The only negative is the mouthful is a little thin. This is a fantastic beer.
