Pint can. Roasted barley aroma with notes of chocolate and sweet, sugary lactose. Pours dark brown with a decent light brown head with good retention and OK lacing. Starts very smooth with sweet lactose sugar and a bit of chocolate with a rich, creamy mouthfeel. Finishes very smooth with a good roast kick at the end. This is a really nice stout.

Purchased at Breeze Thru Liquors in Milwaukee, WI; enjoyed on a hot summer night on a lake before fireworks in St. Germain, WI. Appearance a very dark chocolate brown with a creamy off white head. Aroma of oats and light lactose, also a bit of nuts, doesn’t smell overtly sweet, but smells nice. Taste is nice and chocolatey, not too milky, definitely oatey, pretty good oatmeal stout. Roasted aroma, with a hint of milk chocolate. Pours an opaque black with a full tan head. Slightly sweet flavor, nicely balanced by roasted notes. 16oz can. Pours dark brown with a small off white head that quickly diminishes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is roasted malts and grains with some sweet chocolate and some ash.
The flavor is sweet grainy roasted malts with a little lactic chocolate. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a little watery.
Overall, not a great stout.
