Pours a dark brown with a long-lasting tan foam head. Aroma is burnt toasted malts, chocolate, and some roast. Flavor is toasted malts, chocolate, and a sweetness from the cream sugar. Body is a bit flat, a bit thin. Pretty enjoyable, and with a name like Buffalo Sweat, this is a must try. jzzbassman (1619) - Arlington, Texas, USA - AUG 31, 2010
Poured out of the can a deep almost black with a thick tan head. Lovely chocolate and cream aroma. Love love the flavor, just so easy to like with perfect creaminess and sweetness, although a bit more roast in the finish for that espresso type finish would have been a nice counter punch. SO happy though to find this in Mississippi.....best thing I can think of that I can find locally. jmohno (1612) - Iowa, USA - AUG 21, 2012
Black 2 finger head receding to a thicker than average thin head.Lacing.
Nose is chocolatate malt a little roast espresso some blackberry, and some little hop notes more as it warms, smells tastey.
Taste mirrors aroama with good body at first with a chocolate mild roast light espresso, the finish is light almost thinand lets you know its 5% but the roast sticks through with a mild bittering.Theres some mild hop flavor towards the end also. A very good tasting stout. jflopsu (1594) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 2, 2017
Pours black with brown head. Has a roasted malt, chocolate and coffee aroma. A roasted malt, coffee and chocolate carbonated taste. A sweet and roasted malt aftertaste. ApisAles (1575) - Greenbelt, Maryland, USA - AUG 24, 2012

Clear brown brew with some creamy head. Tons of cream in the aroma with some chocolate. Flavors of roasted malt and chocolate. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - APR 12, 2013
Strikes me as a milk stout. Sweet stout flavor, with a modicum of roasty bitterness. Surprisingly rich mouthfeel for such a low ABV of 5%. I'm not sure if Tallgrass can do any wrong -- I have yet to have an average beer from them. This one is tasty, and a quite nice session stout. Very smooth; very drinkable!

From can thin head with a dark chocolate color. Nice aroma of malt and smoke with a very creamy smooth mouth feel. BigBeer45 (1523) - Michigan, USA - MAR 10, 2017
Can served in a glass,
this stout was a dark brown in the glass and gave a one finger light brown cover of bubbles that receded after a few moments,
it left many spots of lacing on the glass,
the nose had aromas of roasted malt, with some chocolate and caramel, some roasted malt bitterness, a little coffee,
malt and brown sugar like sweetness,
the flavors were roasted malt, coffee that was stronger and had a bit more bitterness than on the nose, some chocolate, faint caramel,
some malt and lactose sweetness,
there was some roasted malt bitterness at the finish,
the mouth feel was light, it was creamy and had average carbonation,
the nose was a nice mix of roasted malt with coffee, chocolate and sweetness,
the flavor was similar to the nose with a bit more coffee and less chocolate,
this was a nice drink. danielcurtis81 (1519) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 24, 2010
Served from a pint can from a bonus from awiseman01. The appearance is a dark cola brown no real head. The aromas are mild roasted malts and grains. The flavors follow the nose, fairly mild. The mouth is medium bodied with a light carbonation. An average brew.
