Can into a pint glass at a happy hour. The flaw with this is too watery - but it’s still a good sweet stout. DasBierChef (1083) - Hudson, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 24, 2011
A bit more coffee in the nose and taste than I care for, but not a bad beer in my opinion. NeoHippie2 (1074) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAY 23, 2014
Black pour with a light tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, cocoa, vanilla, and subtle coffee notes. Flavor is roasty malts upfront with notes of chocolate. Very smooth and easy to drink. Nice sweetness from the lactose. Tasty brew. WVHouseofBeer (1069) - West Virginia, USA - MAY 24, 2011
Pours opaque black with a small tan head that dissipates into a ring that leaves no lacing. Aroma is kind of weak but consists of coffee and chocolate. Flavors of chocolate, coffee and caramel. Mouthfeel is a bit thin but finishes on a sweet milky note. Overall a pretty average sweet stout. fiver29 (1036) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - NOV 13, 2010
On tap at the Flying Saucer pours black with light tan head. Aroma is roast malt and sweetness. Lighter mouthfeel for the style. Flavors are pretty much on par with the nose and is pretty one dimensional. An average beer.

Pours a dark brown with small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malts, dusty. Taste is sweet roasted malts and a dry bitter finish. Palate is a little thin for the flavor. Overall it’s not bad, but nothing I’d crave. Tejas (1006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 14, 2015
Nice little oatmeal stout here. I say little b/c it's only 5%. ABV needs to be higher. Probably around 6ish. Nevertheless, it's a super easy drinker w/ a good creamy palate and just the right amount of roastiness. Thechasm442 (1005) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 18, 2014
Pint can to a tulip. The beer pours a super dark brown with a thick tan head that leaves little lacing. Right off the bad I can smell sweet cream, oats, and cocoa. This beer is very fragrant and smells awesome. Taste is creamy chocolate and cocoa up front. It picks up roasted coffee flavors as well as roasted barley and oats. Mouthfeel is somewhat thin but it fits this beer well. It remains very creamy and the flavors linger in your mouth a while. Very nice. Caytinator (1005) - Waco, Texas, USA - SEP 8, 2012
20 oz on tap. Black color, good adhesion. Decent head fades to slight collar. Smells a bit more like coffee than oatmeal. Disappointing overall. Taste is light and not full-bodied, contrasts with the appearance & aroma. It’s like they sort of gave up on it and threw hops at it. Nowhere near as good as Tallgrass’ other beers (Oasis in particular). Pass. johnnymusky (983) - Minnesota, USA - FEB 6, 2015
