BUFFALO SWEAT
(ABV 5.0%, 20 IBU)

We love this beer here at the brewery, and think you will have one of those Ive never-tasted-a-beer-like-that kind of moments when you try it!

What we really like about this beer is the smoothness that brewing with cream sugar brings to the palate. This smoothness balances out the copious quantities of roasted barley used in the brewing process to create a rich, complex, and delicious beer. If you have not been a stout drinker in the past, give this beer a try. It might just change your mind about how dark beers should taste. It tastes so rich, but is surprisingly easy to drink!

Cant find the sweat? Dont sweat it. Just ask for Buffalo Sweat at your local liquor store or your favorite tavern.

Aroma is bitter, roasty, dark/bittersweet chocolate. Pretty malty, a little creamy. Starts off extremely light, but does taste like a stout. Creamy and smooth. Malty, just a little bitter, chocolate, oats. A very light stout.

1 pint can from Beervana. Pours a deep dark brown color with a big beige head that diminishes quickly and leaves no lacing. Aroma is strongly malty, roasted with lactic touches. Notes of milk, milk chocolate, cocoa powder, lactose, milk cream. Not bad at all. Taste is fairly sweet with really moderate roastiness. Milk is the most obvious flavor, which combines with chocolate and roasted sugars. Zero bitterness or hop presence. Aftertaste of cocoa powder is short lived. Reminds me of Kinder Surprise. Low carbonation, feels thick in the mouthfeel. Fairly smooth but overly sweet. It feels pretty "macro" for a Microbrewery. Drinkable.

16 oz. can from Party Time Liquor in Spearfish. Appearance: 2 fingers brown head that does not last, dark brown color, clear. Aroma: roast, milk chocolate, light oatmeal and biscuits, light floral. Palate: full body, average carbonation, creamy texture, light bitter finish. Taste: sweet milk chocolate, with light oatmeal sweet malt, and into a light coffee bitterness that finalizes into a solid bitterness. Overall, very smooth, like the light alcohol for the style, very drinkable, very fine beer.

On tap at Whiteman AFB. I guess its pretty hard to collect a lot of sweat from buffalo - I mean, the ideas just crazy. I bet theres a buffalo mafia that maintains a buffalo sweat shop just so they can meet supply and demand. Ill tell you something else, if I were a buffalo, Id charge double for this stuff and buy a really nice car.

Pours very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma chocolate, coffee and pipe tobacco. Taste follows nose and for some reason it reminds me of johnnie walker black label. Pretty good but a little thin for my tastes.

Purchased from City Cellars in Cincinnati, Ohio - Well, this one is basically bison chocolate and malty madness... its a goode beer, a fine sweet stout, but not worth the price I paid (8.99) I paid for the four can pack.

A deep brown color with a foamy tan head and lacing. The aroma is sweet malt and coffee, and the flavor has sweet malt up front with the coffee and bolder malt taking over in the middle. It has a light-medium body and a smooth aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: extremely rich and chocolatey and nutty; pretty nice; Appearance: pitch black with thin white head that dissipates quickly; Taste: follows nose closely and is much better than usual cream stout; Palate: heavy body with long, sweet finish; Overall: quite good. Might be a cream stout I would get again.
