If you only try one dark beer in your life, Buffalo Sweat will change your entire perception of how a stout should taste.

Can. Pours opaque brown-black with a large creamy brown head that dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet roasted malts, molasses, coffee and chocolate. Finish is very lightly bitter. Semi-rich on the palate. Best beer I have had from a can in a while.

Draught at Sycamore. Light stout. Slight sweet taste. Lacking a lot of the milk stout taste that Duck Rabbit or Left Hand bring, but not bad.

Bottled. Poured deep brown with a fine cap of tan head. The aroma was on the sweet and lightly roasty side, with milk chocolate and heavy cream leading.. a hint of sour charred black malts on the back.. sweet and desserty. The flavor found sweet chocolates and lesser vanilla at the core with milky sugars laced throughout.. touches of coffee and molasses on the edges.. finished with sweet milk chocolates and butter cream. Light-medium bodied and very sweet on the palate.. smooth flow across the palate with complementary lactose-like tanginess on the back. This was very, very drinkable.
