COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We often hear from fans who swore they’d never enjoy a stout — until they tried Buffalo Sweat. Some have described its rich taste, creamy mouthfeel and sweet, lingering finish as liquid chocolate chip cookies made with espresso. If you only try one dark beer in your life, Buffalo Sweat will change your entire perception of how a stout should taste.

Can. Near black. Really nice one finger dense head. Roasty dark chocolate and coffee. Rather smooth and somewhat creamy. Straightforward but solid.

Poured out of a can and it developed a nice frothy head. Nice roasted sweet dark flavor.

Rated on 9-23-2016 at O’Reilly’s Pub - Fort Wayne, IN (Can - Drink by 08/28/16). The appearance of this canned beer is a very small tan head, opaque dark brown body and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is roasted, malt and somewhat rich smelling. The taste is sweet, roasted and malt. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. This is an easy drinking beer given the style. It is easy drinking and has a bland taste to it. There is nothing very special about this beer.

Toast, malt, vanilla, fresh ground coffee. Looks like a stout should look. Black with a thick creamy tan head. Retention forever. Leaves a foamy coating on the glass. Glassy smooth. Toast and charred malt. Medium to light bodied. Hints of vanilla. Sweet finish. Damn nice.

Roasty malty beer with a little bitterness and not much sweetness. The oatmeal is understated as usual.

This bottled brew from a beer bar poured a head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque black colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The semi-thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish mild malty aftertaste. The tasty flavor contained notes of brown malt and malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Tap - Looks good, pours black with brown edges, resilient tope head. Coarse lace. Aroma is coffee, roasted nuts, cocoa. Nice carbonation on the tongue. Roasted earthiness. Nice breathy finish of coffee and cocoa. Great but not elite.
