16 oz can into a pub glass. Big head on this one, dark brown pour, but a little light shows in the bottom of the glass. I could smell the vanilla before I even picked it up. Aroma is vanilla, roasted malt, coffee, and some tobacco. Head isn’t really foamy, more fizzy, and dissipates fairly quickly. Body is pretty light, less carbonated than I would have guessed from the head, really smooth, little sweetness. Muted coffee and dark chocolate. Vanilla isn’t overpowering at all, really, and the coffee/vanilla thing is fairly balanced. Maybe I got a bad can, but my first impression was that it tasted kinda flat and very light bodied. I was excited to try this, but I’m kinda disappointed. That being said, it’s only 5% abv, and its pretty drinkable so it might be a fun session beer.
Pours a very dark brown color. Mocha colored head, poor retention, no lacing.edgallow (4146) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 21, 2017
Aroma is vanilla, light, but up front and prominent. Light coffee, coffee creamer, raisins. Brownies. Some malts, but not too much.
Taste follows the nose. Quite delicious. Coffee, brownies, raisins, vanilla.
Mouthfeel is medium light. Thin and watery. Has some grittiness, which makes me think vanilla bean ice cream. Maybe that’s not it, but it works. Smooth and creamy.
Overall, pretty tasty. A slight nudge better than the original. Very enjoyable. Yes, I recommend it and I would buy again.
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate and coffee. Taste is vanilla, coffee and grains. Niko100 (2889) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 14, 2017

Pours somewhere between brown and black, fizzy beige head, elusive. Nice aroma, very rich for the abv, deep coffee roast, caramel, earth, chocolate and vanilla galore. Thin as expected for 5% but very nice... Chocolate syrup, vanilla bean, lingering coffee bitterness. Dry finish. Solid.

Dark and sweet and chocolaty and roasty and vanilla, vanilla, vanilla. Also, vanilla. jhamp9 (1830) - Corinth, Texas, USA - MAR 18, 2017
Deep dark brown pour with a creamy beige head. Aroma is coffee with French vanilla creamer and toffee. Taste is chocolate, coffee, vanilla and oats. Medium body. Really nice beer. onceblind (9397) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 6, 2017
Black pour with a thin light tan head that recedes pretty quick. Delightful creamy oat-y and chocolaty vanilla cereal tone on the nose. Delightful smooth flavor that’s dark and cocoa’y with big earthy vanilla and gentle oat-y undertone. Creamy and sweet and vanilla tinged with lovely bready chocolate. chucklemation (1611) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - FEB 19, 2017
Pours a dark brown with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is roast, vanilla, caramel, lactose, chocolate, and some earthy notes. Flavor is vanilla, caramel, chocolate, lactose, and some roast. Well-carbonated with a medium, creamy body. Sweet, but not too sweet. The vanilla bean is definitely an improvement on the already solid Buffalo Sweat. Very good. chinchill (4899) - South Carolina, USA - FEB 2, 2017
16 oz can from TN with a BB date stamp of 24 March 2017.
Pours blackish-brown with a sizable, fluffy tan head that settles to a durable top coat. Soapy lacing.
Aroma: roasted grains, vanilla, coffee, chocolate and a faint touch of smoke.
Flavor: lots of vanilla; at the threshold of too much. Roasted grains. Chocolate and and coffee in the aftertaste. Medium-high sweetness for style.
Overall: with sweet vanilla and faint coffee overtone, this makes a fine after dinner beverage.
