2.7
Oakes (18472) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 4, 2016
Slightly hazy, amber, medium head. Aroma shows some pedio, light English yeast. Sweet, amber malts, a touch biscuity, the pedio isn’t showing through much.

biirusaikou (2705) - - FEB 26, 2016
Bottle. Quite caramel-forward with some grassy hops, feels a bit more British, not horrible but fairly boring. Probably at the top-end of the omiyage beer range but that is still fairly uninspiring...

3.3
Tonkun (1296) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 26, 2013
Bottle. Amber pour with a thick white head. Grape, banana, tropical fruit, bread, perfume. Light and silky body with nice and balanced carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

maekchu (4024) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JUL 8, 2012
Bottle. Thanks to Bart. Fresh, grassy aromas with some diacetyl notes. Golden yellow color. Mild maltiness, finish is a touch sweet. Medium body. Not bad at all.... but doesn’t really stand out in any way.

3.5
shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAY 28, 2012
Bottle at home bought at Hanadaya. Golden amber coloured, slightly hazy with small beige head. Aroma is fruity, citrus and grassy hops, and also a bit sweet. Taste is fruity but without as much sweetness. End is lemony bitter, but not forcefully so. Quite subtle and pretty nice. Not bad at all.

jonno (2878) - JAPAN - MAR 22, 2012
Tap. Soft caramel and skunk nose. Soft and delicate. Nice low bitter finish. Very drinkable, if a tad nonchalant.

3.5

thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 16, 2010
Bottle from the brewery, 5.5% ABV. Hazy amber, medium white head. Good fruity toffee, both in the mouth and in the nose. Good balance between toffee and fruity hop bitterness.

3.2
KyotoLefty (10603) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAR 3, 2009
On tap at the brewery. Medium copper color. Flowery, slightly perfumey aroma, with citrus, hops, fruits. Hoppy, fruity, light flavor. Slightly alcoholic!; with honey. Popcicle like. Ok. It might be good if it weren’t so cold. Rather bland, though.

3.7
IslandHaole (1289) - Misawa, JAPAN - OCT 12, 2007
Deep golden color, eggshell white head, nice hoppy taste and again, a nice feel, rather creamy. Well done! I could drink way too much of this!
