330ml bottle- thanks jinroh! (7:2:7:2:13=3.1)Juks (1296) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 4, 2018
Sweet raisins aroma, some alcohol. Raisins, some cakey character in the taste. Sweet toffee, but quite a light palate. However, it's a dead palate, a bit watery. Finish gently spicy, more raisins. Late finish woody and a bit spirity. Was a murky pour, and that turned me off the beer right from the start. Alcohol not covered particularly well, but not offensive.
330ml bottle, thanks jinroh. Pours hazy, murky brown, almost no head. Aroma is sweet, raisins, malty, toffee, prunes. Taste is sweet, woody, bee wax, whiskey, irony, malty. Sweet and alcoholy in aftertaste. Medium + bodied, below average carbo. Itresteing stuff, but unbalanced. Lots of tastes, but I'm not sure about it. Marduk (8833) - Reval, ESTONIA - FEB 4, 2018
330ml bottle (thanks jinroh). Murky brown color. Tiny to almost no head. Raisins, prunes, alcohol, toffee, caramel and sweet in aroma. Raisins, plums, oak, alcohol, caramel, toffee in taste. Raisins, oak, toffee in aftertaste. Alcohol is bit stronk here. Nice brew. Beersiveknown (5325) - NORTHERN IRELAND - JAN 29, 2018

opaque amber/beige. quite high woodiness - almost diacetyl like. doesn't play nicely with the hop bitterness ending up fairly soapy - tough going with all of that abv too - a little ott for me and very little carbonation didn't help either - quite cloying

Clear amber beer, small creamy white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of alcohol, sweet, vanilla, bourbon, some chocolate even. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty sweet, alcohol, vanilla, sugary notes, dried fruits, chocolate, bit fruity. Aftertaste: alcohol, spicy notes, more alcohol, sweet malts, caramel, lovely stuff! Tasted as "Far East B.A.", would've never thought this was an IIPA... but man, what a lovely beer this has become. Much more barley wine than IIPA, and... well, I'm a sucker for barley wines as well! :p
Copper colour with no head. Aroma is floral with a light red fruit sweetness. Refreshing and almost evaporating. Low bitterness. harrisoni (19726) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 30, 2017
On tap at Borefts BF 2017. Clear amber colour lasting white head. Woody barrel age aroma. Bit too woody for me. Some toffee. Ugh. Too woody too boo\y . OK but not my thing. Boozy. 90 (1011) - BELGIUM - SEP 28, 2017
@ Borefts Beer Festival 2017.
First of all this is not an IPA. Great aroma of barrel aged barley wine. Taste is full bodied, with port and caramel aspects. Nice oak. Creamy palate. Benzai (17000) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - SEP 28, 2017
Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2017, day 2. A bit hazy reddish color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, heavy barrel influence, what is that, whiskey? Overripe fruit flavors as well. Toffee, caramel. Heavy but nice as a slow sipper.
