300 ml bottle. Clear, slightly viscous. Lightly fruity aroma, with a bit of citrus and some banana. Dryly fruity flavor, with an alcoholic sharp edge, and maybe a bit of cedar. Very sharp and dry, clean. Got more fragrant as it warmed.

Found a small bottle of this (275ml) to try for New Years. It’s made with 100% Yamadanishiki rice, this is the most coveted rice in sake production and the only one used for top Daiginjo sakes. Notes of fruit, berries are noticeable under the expected koji scent. Clear as spring water. Powerful flavor bursts into your mouth, hot & spicy, it coats the walls of your mouth with a warming, fruit and alcohol taste. The fruit taste must be the reason the special rice is used. Also an earthy follow, slightly moldy but in a better way than it sounds.
