Draught at the brewpub. Hazy golden orange. The aroma is sweet, creamy, citric and spicy. The flavor is soft, creamy and rich with orange peel, caramel, spice, cream and lemon. Rich palate. Not bad omhper (25958) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 21, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy orange, small creamy head. Buttery nose, Fairly sweet with dense mouthfeel. Fruity flavour with peach and dough. Low bitterness. Left me unimpressed. Savvy1982 (1706) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 19, 2010
This was tagged as "Dry Rain Roggen" when we were there, but who am I to nitpick? Oh... right. Pours very hazy amber/orange. Medium off-white head, no lacing. Nose is nondescript citrus, lemons and navel oranges perhaps? Plus gentle yeast character, and a pleasing rye sweetness. Flavours are quite sweet, rye, orange, spice. Quite nice. Sample at brewery. Very hazy muddy orange. Aroma is floral and sweet caramel. Taste is bready, sweet fruit, strange. The lady said this was 25% rye, 25% wheat, 50% barley, or something along those lines. Kind of weird but decent still.
