My Bottom Line:
This crisp and refreshing Svetly puts together delicate citrus, herbs, honey and straw, sculpting a compelling example of the style.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A superb head of foam rests atop the misty honeyed gold.
-The mouthfeel is quite effervescent and dry. Drinkability is through the roof.
-The flavor profile, though aiming at traditional examples of Svetly, manages to possess a unique character in its juxtaposition of citrus and straw notes.
-Everything is balanced and well organized. Top notch job.

On tap at Zly Casy, Praha.

On tap at Zly Casy (02/03/13). Beautiful gold pour, very light haze, dense creamy white head. Lots of toasted grain, citrus, lemon, very light grapefruit. Nice honey like sweetness, lots of toasted grain, crisp. Palate is dry, carbonation is a tad prickly. Surprised by the total lack of love for this beer on RB, a very fine svetly.

(Draught at Zly Casy, Prague, 25 July 2012) Golden amber colour with creamy, off-white head. Malty nose with toast, grainy malt and hints of orange. Malty taste with notes of toasty malt, bread, orange, apricots and a dry finish with a gentle, spicy bitterness. Medium body, fairly dry. Quite decent.

Dark golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with a fruity touch and a hint of yoghurt. Grainy malty flavour with a tart note

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2012 on tap at klub malych pivovaru, as well as tasted in hradec kralove. a really drinkable pilsner that stylistically fits neatly in the sweet spot between a grainy frothy fresh brewpub 12ka and a mass-produced but crisp quality 12ka. hints of menthol, bright honey colour, medium bitterness, tinny in a pleasant way re-rate: a bit hit-and-miss lately; lacking a bit of the herbaceous character that excited me originally about tambor

Ungstrup (38413) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 6, 2011
Bottled. A golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and sulphur.
